Tandem Box Trailer
This plan is for a Tandem Box trailer with beam axle suspension and large box area in 3 popular sizes – 2400 × 1500 (8x5ft), 2700 × 1500 (9x5ft), 3000 × 1800 (10x6ft). The plan uses a tandem box body panel kit available from most trailer spares suppliers and a strong RHS chassis construction. Of course you can also manufacture the body panels if you wish – all the drawings and detailed dimensions are provided.
The plans conform to the Australian National Code of Practice – Building Small Trailers (VSB1). Trailers built to comply with this code of practice can be registered for on-road use in Australia.
All our trailer plans are compliant with relevant ADRs, applicable in all states and territories for new trailer builds under RVS Regulation.
The plan includes a Certificate of Compliance (CoC) for ADR 62 – Drawbar.
