Off Road Camper Trailer

The Off-Road Camper Trailer Plan is a tried and tested design that is strong, economical and reasonably simple to manufacture. A generous box area provides plenty of storage space with top access via a lid that also acts as a carrier for items such as bikes, bulky gear or a fold-up tent. Rear access is through a swinging tailgate – also handy for a kitchen (plans not included). Side panels provide additional storage for items such as gas cylinders, batteries or fire wood. A spare wheel carrier is mounted on the drawbar which also has room for a tool box or tent poles storage tube.

Includes two sets of drawings – metric (mm) and ANSI units (inches).

The plans conform to the Australian National Code of Practice – Building Small Trailers (VSB1). Trailers built to comply with this code of practice can be registered for on-road use in Australia.
All our trailer plans are compliant with relevant ADRs, applicable in all states and territories for new trailer builds under RVS Regulation.
The plan includes a Certificate of Compliance (CoC) for ADR 62 – Drawbar.
